Australian soccer icon Katrina Gorry signs with Australian Activewear brand Emamaco as Brand Ambassador. Katrina has represented Australia with the Matildas at the Olympics and FIFA Women’s World Cups and has recently announced her pregnancy. With this endorsement Katrina will champion Emamaco’s Maternity range of Activewear, supporting the Aussie brand’s expansion in Australia.
Katrina joins the growing cohort of professional women maintaining world class careers while having and raising children. As she dedicates time out from her international sporting career to start her family, with big plans to return for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
“I am excited to be joining the Emamaco family. As an expecting mum, it’s great to know I’m supported by Emamaco who understand the needs of pregnant women and mums. Keeping active through my pregnancy and post is important to me as a professional athlete, and I find their activewear super comfortable to work out in,” said Katrina.

The new Emamaco ambassador is Asian Women's Football Player of the Year in 2014, and a W-League winner. Katrina has been outspoken in raising awareness of eating disorders in Women in Sport, her single-parent IVF journey, and the challenges faced by LGBTQI+ in Sport.
For her pregnancy, Katrina has chosen Emamaco to provide the support, compression and performance Activewear to grow with her. As an elite athlete, she knows how important it is to feel supported when training. Katrina will work with Emamaco to promote the activewear range including: Womens, Maternity, Pregnancy Recovery, Breastfeeding and Shapewear.
