Vogue Australia catches up with Emamaco ambassador and Matilda's star Katrina Gorry

Katrina Gorry was in the midst of an incredibly successful sporting career when she decided that she wanted to become a mum. Having already achieved her goals of playing for Australia at a World Cup, an Olympic Games, and been named the best footballer in Australia and Asia in 2014, Gorry decided to go for it.

In 2020 when the Tokyo Olympics looked like they weren't going to go ahead, Gorry decided to undergo IVF as a single woman, whilst playing overseas in Norway. Remarkably, she completed her IVF the day she was heading back to Australia to complete her 14 days in Hotel Quarantine. 9 months later, her baby girl Harper was born and Gorry's perspective on life, soccer and everything else changed forever.
